It has been almost a year since we launched this site and my Sewing Clips out into the fashion sewing scene and I am filled with Gratitude!!! The people that have helped me do this, the people who bought clips and the incredible amount of people I’ve met along the way have made my life beyond interesting. At times I thought I might crack under the pressure of what I created but it is all working out. The holiday sale went well, I’m about to get more press and we are working on the 2nd version of the clip, well I’ve done the drawings of it anyway!

Ron and Sandra were great to work with and they love using the clips for all kinds of their projects. I’m lucky to have met them and really like their work.

The show was great and I met alot of new people and sold alot of packages of clips. I met some vendors who will be selling clips in their stores and in booths at other tradeshows too! I was sewing and talking for 4 days straight and just about collapsed when it was over. I’m teaching classes at City College in San Francisco so I could not take real time off but am recovering. Ready to take on whatever comes next in this Sewing Clip Revolution adventure. It is very fulfilling work!

I’ll be at the Expo Center in San Mateo for the Quilt, Craft and Sewing Festival on the 16-17-18th in Booth 511 doing my sewing demonstrations and selling Clips! Come and learn new techniques and see what is available for your creativity!

Yesterday I filmed an episode of “Power Sewing” with Sandra Betzina and Ron Collins and were they alot of fun! We did demos of how to use Getta Grip Clips and everyone there is SO nice. I also met Cheryl Kuczek of Paradiso Designs and she makes really cute things and teaches sewing. She loves the clips and will be using them on her projects and helping spread the word about the Sewing Revolution!

The 25th anniversary issue of Threads is out and they did a great write up about the Getta Grip Sewing Clips! It’s on page 17 in a section about notions. It’s also my 1st ad in Threads which is on page 86, what a great stroke of timing and luck. I’d sent a press kit about the clips months ago and it ended up in good hands. I’m so excited and grateful to everyone who helped this happen!
