This Maker Faire was especially inspiring and it was such a great time. We made all kinds of clothes and sold clips to all kinds of people! I love that people who have been using my clips wanted more and people who have never heard of them were excited to try them. It is so fulfilling to help people with their projects, like lessons from my classes are leaking out into the world wherever I go. So many people are sewing their own stuff-it’s amazing to see the diversity. Thanks to everyone who brought their happiness my way!

Last week I went to Guerrilla Business School in LA through Peak Potentials and it was 1 of the most amazing classes I’ve ever taken. I spoke with Michael Gerber who wrote The E-Myth, Mari Smith who is a social media Guru and Keith Cunningham who was the subject of the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Truly inspiring people who are helping entrepreneurs learn how to grow and manage their businesses. Such a high level of teaching and sharing information. I am so happy about this. I went with my brother looking for a connection to the Martha Stewart Show because I want a sewing segment on there. My friends and I made a video about how I want to sew with my Mentor Martha, well I want her to be my mentor anyway. My brother’s girlfriend (whom I adore) happens to know someone to help me get the video to Martha herself! So we’re crossing our fingers and hoping for the best! I should hear something soon and am Beyond Excited…..Martha has really inspired me throughout the launch of my invention & product and to get to meet with her and work with her would be the most fulfilling thing I can Imagine…….
This weekend I will be at Maker Faire on the San Mateo County Fairgrounds which is the most amazing Creative Community I’ve ever witnessed and been a part of-this is year 3 for me. This was the 1st place I debuted my sample clips! So come see us in the Giant Hanger on the 21st & 22nd!!

I’m celebrating living in this Amazing place for 20 years! Many Dreams have come true here and my sewing clip is probably the most miraculous thing to happen. 3 years ago at a party on Folsom street my friend took my concept drawing out of my hand and said “I can do this” and by that fall we had a patent, the next year got a loan from the City and last year we debuted the sewing clips at Maker Faire. This is the most mind opening festival I’ve ever been to and this year’s Faire is the weekend of May 21st-Don’t Miss It!!!

We have been sharing the clips with the world for a year this weekend and I’m proud to say we’re all over the U.S., Canada, Europe and more! It’s incredible what you can do if you set your mind to it and I want to Thank Everybody who has been creating this revolution in sewing. It has been almost a year since we launched this site and my Sewing Clips out into the fashion sewing scene and I am filled with Gratitude!!! The people that have helped me do this, the people who bought clips and the incredible amount of people I’ve met along the way have made my life beyond interesting. At times I thought I might crack under the pressure of what I created but it is all working out. The holiday sale went well, I’m about to get more press and we are working on the 2nd version of the clip, well I’ve done the drawings of it anyway!
